Roanoke Firefighters in VA Beach to Support Creigh Deeds

Lt./Union President Rodney Jordan, Lt. Steven McFaden,  and Firefighter Becky Smith (not sure if anyone else was there) recently attended the VPFF Legislative Conference in Virginia Beach. While there, the VPFF made their endorsements for Virginia’s next Governor, Lt. Governor, and Attorney General.

My paycheck comes from taxes. I haven’t had a raise in over a year. How can I NOT support certain tax increases?

  2. Bill Beregard says:

Who really gives a crap what Mr. Deeds has to say. What a waste of time for them to travel over 4 hours for Mr. Deeds to not give two shits.

  3. vpffmember says:

Do I care if Deeds raises taxes? No. My salary comes from taxes. McDonnel will screw workers retirement to get what he wants. Defined benefit vs. defined contribution. Rape employee pensions to avoid raiseing taxes. How would you feel? ICMA, VML, they don’t give a rat azz about workers. Don’t be fooled.
