Morning accident kills one on I-581:

Rescue workers and police investigate the scene of an accident on 581 North near the northbound Peters Creek road exit.A two-vehicle accident on Interstate 581 this morning resulted in at least one confirmed fatality, according to Sgt. Bob Carpentieri, spokesman for the Virginia State Police.
The accident occurred at approximately 9 a.m. on northbound I-581 south of the Peters Creek Road exit, Carpentieri said.
