Firehouse 4
Firehouse 4 1892 - 1903. Firehouse 4 was built for the Alert Fire Company No. 4. The Alerts were a volunteer fire company organized to protect the Virginia Brewery and the newly expanding Southeast quadrant of the City. The firehouse was located at 1219 Wise Avenue SE.
Firehouse 4 1911 - 19??. Firehouse 4 was located at 323 Highland Avenue SW. This station is no longer in existance.
Firehouse 4 200? - Present. Firehouse 4 is now located at 3763 Peters Creek Road SW.
